We are a small but perfectly formed PR agency, loved by a tiny handful of people worldwide.  All of our business is based on referrals and recommendations from clients or journalists.

We’re not for everyone – in fact we decline to pitch for around 80 per cent of the approaches we receive.  If we don’t believe we can transform your reputation and name awareness we will say so.  If we don’t think we are the right agency for you, we will tell you.

We are different to most PR agencies in that we aren’t simply out to accumulate clients – all of our business tends to be on long term retainers rather than projects, so we don’t need to keep churning new business.  As a result, we spend all of our time getting results for existing clients rather than worrying about where the next piece of new business is coming from.

MAW Comms was set-up by Gordon Maw, formally Director of Communications within the Virgin Group. Gordon has appeared as an expert commentator on programmes such as ITN’s News at Ten, BBC Breakfast, Sky News, Channel Four News, Radio Four’s Today Programme, Radio Five Live and Channel Four’s Dispatches and been quoted in everything from the FT to The Sun.
