20 Feb, 18 Howes Percival advises on sale of Kelvin Power

 

Howes Percival has advised the shareholders of Kelvin Power on the sale of the business to electrical, automation and ICT engineering company VINCI Energies UK & ROI for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 1993, the Leicester-based Kelvin Power provides advice and designs to the global power industry and the renewable energy sector. Its areas of expertise include substations, onshore connections, cable studies, transmission lines, cabling and power project services.

Kelvin Power operates through two business units: Kelvin Power Structures designs and supplies steel and aluminium structures for substations and designs transmission lines.  Kelvin Power Consultants provides engineering consultancy services for substation, onshore connections, cable studies and transmission lines.

Howes Percival partner, Daniel Banton provided the lead corporate advice on the transaction supported by Ben Mabbott and Mike Hollis (tax assistant); advice on employment matters was provided by Hannah Ball and Nick Benton; commercial property advice was provided by Alexandra Kirkwood.
